1- Log in to your WHM control panel using your credentials.
2- Once logged in, navigate to the "SSL/TLS" section. You can usually find it in the left-hand sidebar under the "SSL/TLS" or "Security" category.
3- In the SSL/TLS section, look for the option "Install an SSL Certificate on a Domain" or a similar option. Click on it to proceed.
4- On the next page, you'll be prompted to select the domain for which you want to install the SSL certificate. Choose the appropriate domain from the drop-down list.
5- Next, you'll need to provide the SSL certificate information. You should have received the certificate files from RapidSSL, typically in a .crt format. There are usually three files: your_domain.crt, intermediate.crt, and root.crt. If you have them as separate files, you'll need to concatenate them into a single file.
6- Open your_domain.crt file in a text editor and copy its content. Then open the intermediate.crt file and copy its content. Finally, open the root.crt file and copy its content.
7- Combine the contents of all three files into a single text file, starting with your_domain.crt, followed by intermediate.crt, and then root.crt. Save this combined file with a .crt extension.
8- Go back to WHM and paste the combined certificate content into the "Certificate (CRT)" field.
9- Scroll down and find the "Private Key (KEY)" field. The private key is typically generated during the CSR (Certificate Signing Request) process when you initially requested the SSL certificate. If you don't have it, you may need to generate a new CSR and obtain a new SSL certificate from RapidSSL.
10- Paste the private key into the "Private Key (KEY)" field.
11- If you received any intermediate CA certificates or a bundle file from RapidSSL, you can paste them into the "Certificate Authority Bundle (CABUNDLE)" field. If you don't have any, leave this field empty.
12- Finally, click on the "Install" button to complete the installation process.
13- WHM will validate the certificate, install it on the specified domain, and configure the necessary settings.
