Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) in cPanel adds an extra layer of security to your account. Here are the steps to enable 2FA in cPanel:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Navigate to the "Security" section and click on the "Two-Factor Authentication" option.
  3. Click on the "Set Up Two-Factor Authentication" button.
  4. Select the authentication app you would like to use, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
  5. Install the chosen authentication app on your mobile device.
  6. Open the authentication app and scan the QR code provided by cPanel.
  7. The app will generate a code, and enter it into cPanel to verify that the authentication is set up correctly.
  8. Finally, click the "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" button to enable 2FA for your cPanel account.

Once 2FA is enabled, each time you log in to cPanel, you will need to enter the authentication code generated by your chosen authentication app to complete the login process.
