Enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) in cPanel adds an extra layer of security to your account. Here are the steps to enable 2FA in cPanel:
- Log in to your cPanel account.
- Navigate to the "Security" section and click on the "Two-Factor Authentication" option.
- Click on the "Set Up Two-Factor Authentication" button.
- Select the authentication app you would like to use, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
- Install the chosen authentication app on your mobile device.
- Open the authentication app and scan the QR code provided by cPanel.
- The app will generate a code, and enter it into cPanel to verify that the authentication is set up correctly.
- Finally, click the "Enable Two-Factor Authentication" button to enable 2FA for your cPanel account.
